Those who are extremely low on space or don't wash many dishes might want to opt for a countertop dishwasher. Like mobile units, countertop models connect to the kitchen sink. These machines tend to cost between $250 and $350.

The latest technology on the market is that the dish drawer. These machines comprise either a double or single drawer which slides out to facilitate loading. With two-drawer versions, you can run different wash cycles in precisely the exact same time. A double drawer dishwasher is roughly the same size as a traditional unit. A one-drawer machine costs between $500 and $700, even though a two-drawer unit can set you back as much as $1,200.
